Taqsem Khan is the Managing Director and CEO of Dhaka Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (WASA), Bangladesh. Taqsem is a Visionary Leader and a successful reformer who made dramatic reform named “Dhaka WASA Turn Around Program” for last 12 years and converted a losing organization into a profitable, environment friendly, sustainable, pro-people and good governance public sector water utility in Southeast Asia by increasing production, increasing revenue income 3 times, reducing NRW from 40% to 7% in DMA area, reducing operating ratio to 0.66, introducing paperless e-billing system, ensuring water for all including low income community with 98% revenue collection. Taqsem has 40 years of vast management experience. He obtained his Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from Moscow, USSR in 1981, and started his professional career with PHILIPS Bangladesh Ltd. as Production Engineer. From 1988 to 1998 Taqsem worked in the International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh (ICDDR, B), as Chief Engineer. Prior to joining WASA in 2009, Taqsem was involved with different NGOs in USA and Bangladesh from 1999 to 2008 and also worked as Senior Management Consultant in a Management Training Company.
Malena Galmarini has a degree in Political Science, Government and Administration. In December 2019, she became the first female President of Aguas y Saneamientos Argentinos (Aysa), the second largest water and sanitation company in Latin America and the fifth in the world. Lic. Galmarini also chairs the Latin American Association of Water and Sanitation Operators (ALOAS). She is a provincial deputy elected by the Province of Buenos Aires in use of license and previously served as Secretary of Health Policy and Human Development and Councilor of the Municipality of Tigre, among others.

Will Sarni is the founder and CEO of water strategy consultancy, Water Foundry. He is also the CEO of the Colorado River Basin Fund, the first placed-based water-focused investment fund in the United States. Prior to Water Foundry, Sarni was a managing director at Deloitte Consulting where he established and led the water strategy practice. He was the founder and CEO of DOMANI, a sustainability strategy firm, prior to Deloitte. Sarni is a co-founder of WetDATA and a host of the podcast, The Stream with Will and Tom. He is a board member of Flowater, Silver Bullet, Project WET and the Rocky Mountain Rowing Club. He was the Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board for the WAITRO Global Water Innovation Summit 2020 and was on the Scientific Program Committee for Stockholm World Water Week from 2013 through 2019. His advisory work includes working with the 2020 X-PRIZE (Infinity Water Prize), as a Bold Visioneer for the 2016 X-PRIZE Safe Drinking Water Team and a Technical Advisor for the Climate Bonds Initiative: Nature- Based Solutions for Climate and Water Resilience. He is also on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Water Security.

Roelof Kruize is CEO of Waternet, the public water cycle organization of the municipality of Amsterdam and the regional water Authority Amstel Gooi and Vecht (AGV) since 2006. He held various positions at the Municipality of Amsterdam and between 2008 and 2012 he combined his position at Waternet and AGV with the position of CEO of the Waste to Energy Company of Amsterdam (AEB). Roelof engaged in the development of many national and international activities. He was President of the Royal Netherlands Water Network and President of the European Water Association and is the Dutch representative in the board of the International Water Association (IWA). He is Chairman of the Top Sector Water (water technology) of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs. Moreover, he is Chairman of the Board of control of AquaMinerals, member of the board of the KWR Watercycle Research Institute, Cultural Centre “de Balie” and Chairman of the Aquatech Advisory Committee. In 2003 he was elected Governmental Manager of the year in the Netherlands.

He served as Chairman of the Netherlands Water Technology Innovation Board and member of the Taskforce of the European Innovation Program.
