Daarvoor betaalt u waterschapsbelasting.

We need to solve water together
Water is a key topic the world needs to address for a sustainable future. We need to solve many and diverse water challenges for our environment, society and businesses to thrive and to stay within our planetary boundaries.
Accenture’s purpose is to deliver on the promise of technology and human ingenuity. We embrace the power of change to create long-lasting value in every direction for our clients, people and communities. Through our industry practices and our services, we help clients solve their water challenges. We work with water utilities on providing sustainable clean water, we work with industry on responsible, circular value chains and we work with government on improving, innovating and digitizing public services.
Leading by example
We lead by example and aim to be the world’s leading company across all environmental, social and governance (ESG) elements. As a responsible company, we are committed to making a difference by taking climate action on the path to net-zero, caring for our people, accelerating equality for all and conducting business with integrity.
Our industry-leading climate action goals take an ambitious approach to addressing energy, waste and water management. Although Accenture is not a water-intensive company, we minimize our use of water wherever feasible, including responsible use, reuse, management and discharge across our office portfolio. We are particularly conscious of water-stressed locations and have committed to develop plans for our facilities to reduce the impact of flooding, drought and water scarcity in high risk areas by 2025. In alignment with the World Economic Forum’s recommendation, Accenture uses the World Resources Institute’s Aqueduct tool to identify areas of water risk and understand impacts to local communities. In addition to developing water resiliency plans in all high-risk locations by 2025, we plan to measure and report our water use in these high-risk locations as well.
AIWW provides a platform to bridge the gap between today’s challenges and future needs. Accenture shares AIWW’s vision that water is an enabler to accelerate resilient and sustainable development. AIWW brings together technology and human ingenuity. Accenture is proud to contribute to AIWW through our sponsorship, our PAC membership and active participation in AIWW. We have to do this together.
